Campfire and activity site with two smaller shelters - a small natural gem close to Rold Forest, Villestrup Å, Store Blåkilde and Madum Lake.
There are two shelters, a campfire hut, a compost toilet and a primitive fire pit under large maple trees. There are several table/bench sets, and out on the paths there are seating areas with nice views. There is also a barrier for horses (for overnight stays with horses, contact a contact person).
There are approx. 1 km of marked footpaths with a wealth of bird boxes. Information boards tell more about the rich nature on the site and around the path system.
Cycle route 27 and the Marguerite Route can be found close to the campsite.
Route description:
From Arden; Follow Ardenvej towards Astrup, where Birkholmvej comes on the left. Almost at the very end of this is the square.
From Skørping; Follow Møldrupvej towards Astrup and Hadsund. In Møldrup, Birkholmvej comes on the right, almost all the way down at the end of this is the square.
