The artwork ”Growing Wiser” is TelmoMiels contribution to “Out In The Open 2021”, and are located next to Klostermarkskolen. It is a painting in two parts, with their own symbolism.

The style is abstract reality, with a lot of hidden symbols. Telmos style is marred by humor and provocation, where Miels style is warmer and more romantic. The young girl cannot get hands enough to handle all the books. The stack on her head combined with the owl, symbolizes the known knowledge. The “hidden” books and owl on the other side of the building, symbolizes the knowledge which is not yet known, but are within reach.
